The Museum of the History of Catalonia makes it possible for visitors to discover the past in an interactive, entertaining and understandable way. Through a large number of reproduced objects, documents and reconstructions based on historical information, and with the aid of numerous manual, computer and audiovisual interactive features, the permanent exhibition reveals how the ways of life that have emerged in our land have changed since prehistoric times through to the present day.

Els itineraris d'Educació Primària, Secundària i Batxillerat disposen d'un material didàctic específic, amb activitats per efectuar al museu i activitats per fer a l'aula, pensat per donar suport als alumnes i al seu professorat. D'aquest material, se'n fa arribar un exemplar original al professor, un cop concertada l'activitat corresponent, per tal que se'n pugui fer un joc de fotocòpies destinat a cadascun dels alumnes o grups d'alumnes.
